Welcome to the Perth Mountaineering Club
Climbing, Hillwalking, Scrambling & Ski-Touring in Perthshire, Scotland and beyond!

About the PMC
The Perth Mountaineering Club was established in 1929 as an offshoot of the Edinburgh section of the Junior Mountaineering Club of Scotland. The Club has provided a focus for mountaineering activity in all its forms for those living in Perth and its surrounding areas for almost a century.
Est. 1929
With approximately 100 members, the club holds regular meets throughout the year, including monthly weekend meets at bunkhouses and club huts throughout Scotland. The club also arranges regular mountaineering, climbing and walking day trips and weekly climbing either indoors at the Academy of Sport and Wellbeing Climbing wall at UHI, Perth or outdoors at if the weather allows!
Outside of the clubs scheduled events, the PMC is a very active community, with members regularly arranging ad-hoc walking, climbing and mountaineering trips. Most weekends club members will be out in the hills somewhere!
